I was waiting for the fiance to get home, and shortly after we did, we ran into town to pick up another filter. Which reminds me, does anyone know where I can get a new rubber ring for a canister filter (like a pool filter)? We have one, and it works, but the sealing ring around the top came off and promptly got lost!! -_-*
Tomorrow he'll be moved. We were going to pick up a siphon, but the friggin phone bill is due, and we don't have a lot of money. Plus we're SUPPOSED to be going to shipshewana this weekend, then to Wauseon too. A LOT of traveling!!
Davey, do you have any flagstone, perchance?
If you do, take 5 or 7 blocks, make sure one is significantly longer than the others, and 2 palm-sized stones. Stack 2, put a rock on top, a short distance away (about as long as the longest piece) stack the other 2 flagstones, and the rock. On top of that, lay your long piece. Voila, a cave to hide in!!
You could probably use stepping stones too.
I'll take some pics of him mid-transit. And the rest when he's in his new tank. But we have to wait till tomorrow, when we can drain all of the messy water from the goldfish tank.

I did find some powerheads tonight when I went to town, but I realized a little bit ago, that I might not need one right away, considering the filter we JUST bought is powerful enough to have a couple of my fancies playing in the current. PLUS the 10 gallong filter is going to be attached to that tank, since the filter we bought is only rater for 6o gal. We have to put the filters on the side, because that tank butts right up to the window, and you can't get to the backside to hang a filter there, without moving BOTH dressers the tank is on, AND the tank itself. I have 2 of the exact same dresser, same color and everything, which worked out, b/c I wasn't trusting that HUGE tank on top of the vanity (a small wooden stand.)
I was just in bed, and woke up for a little bit, I decided to check this forum, but now, I'm going to grab some water for my mini roses, and go back upstairs, and make Brian and Terra (the dog) scoot over. I'll see y'all tomorrow!!

PEVINE, I used to have a cichlid tank w/ all the little 1" ones and a bunch of neons in a 75 and the cichilds killed them all. I told my g/f they wouldn't mess w/ her little neons, lol. She wasn't too happy though... lol
