Anyone want to go in on an order from Dan Woodland? White Beani (Rio Panuco) very rare in the hobby. I live in Hayward, California and want to go in on these. I want to go in with 2 other people or 1. Total shipping 2nd day air is $53.16 divided by 3 people ($18 each person) plus the cost of the beani which are the size of .75 to 1 inch. They won't be that much, but no one has the white beani's out here. I say we get 5 each. Attached are the parents. Please let me know asap. I really wanted these yesterday so act fast.

contact LOPAKA. he's in sac. if he can save on shipping he may be interested in getting some to go along with his real "white" beani :)

if you knew anything about that seller & these fish, youd know that those are "real" white beani hes selling.
have you seen the fish im talking about?

yes, I have. Its killer and one of the best looking Beani Ive seen, but I dont think that should discount Dans by any means. Dan Woodland has been involved in this hobby for over 25+ yrs, brought countless species from Central and South America into the hobby and, IMO, probably has some of the best specimens of any fish out there.

Not only that, hes making the whites available for the first time to most everyone and I wouldnt be surprised if the ones JR has are from Dans pair.

definitely. im not a cichlid guy but i do hear dan's name a lot and know he is a reputable source. but based on what Mo said in talking to Dan, i wouldnt count on these guys being a "true" white color all the time:

I saw the picture of Dan's on Aquabid...asked about the white. His response was that "Mine turned “white” when they bred. But that’s it. Basically the same beani I’ve seen with exception of the red unpaired fins." His fish are from the Rio Panuco on the northern west coast of Mexico. From what I am told...he is selling them faster than hershey bars at a fat camp.

now the variant that LOPAKA has (not sure exactly where in mexico these come from), this guy is WHITE all the time. everytime i go see it the fish looks white, with a hint of blue/green.

anywho, theyre both awesome. and its good to see these rare variants in the hobby :)
