What are you schedules? W/C, Test, and etc...

usually every other week water change, onthe water change i do 30-40% water, with the gravel cleaner. Then i clean the plants if needed and driftwood, when i start to refill the tank i put in the appropriate amount of cycle and prime, i add the salt. then i just fill the tank back up and turn the lights off give it some time to clear up and feed them? as far as testing goes for ever i have never owned a test kit until just recently my buddy let me borrow his after my two fish died

You should bump up the W/C to two times a week 50% for a regular schedule. I would do daily 25% changes for a week or until you see some improvement. And I would positively get on a once a week testing schedule. I test two times a week on all my tanks and twice a week W/C on my 150g(overstocked) 55g(Peacock bass growout tanks). Also what are the ph at and temp?

temp is 84 and i couldnt get a clear readin on the ph will do that tonite...
i went to fishfarmacy.com
this is what i found there:
Q: The fish's skin has a hazy white covering over it in patches. It looks like a fungus, but anti-fungal treatments do not work.
A: This is a called Columnaris Disease and is caused by gram-negative bacteria.

Treatment: Use TMP-Sulfa -or- Sulfa 4 TMP -or- Triple Sulfa Powder.

And get a lot more aggressive with those wter changes. If i am correct there sitting in almost a weeks worth of there own waste and that can't be good.

i have no idea do you suggest melafix and a water change?

Yes both for about a week straight! Aggresivly and then do at least once a week or more 50% W/C. How long has the tank been set up?

i would ahve to resource all that product but its worth it for my fish... thank you for the thread. The only thing i noticed was his desctiption of the disease was different from my own expeirience... so i have to wait and see
