Here is a pic of him. It's pretty sad that my 2 megapixel camera on my cellphone works better for taking aquarium pictures than my 4 megapixel camera.

Gold Saum, yes. False Green Terror, no. Nice one at that.

Remember that "Green Terror" is good example of how terrible common names are, and argueing about "True GT's" is going to send you around the bend in an infinite loop of people not comprehending what you mean because they more than likely don't understand nomenclature.

It's easier to say they're all "Green Terrors", all species - A. stalsberi, A. aequinoctalis (Gold Saum) & A. rivulatus. None of them are true Green Terrors, none of them are false, it's a common name that should carry no weight when it comes to identification.

You saved me from typing this.

Honestly, if people want to differentiate what was originally classified as Rivulatus the call it the 'original' Green Terror. It drives me nuts when people say false or true GT.

Its like Xerox copies or Kleenex. You don't tell some oneto make you false Xerox copies to mean make copies on a non-Xerox machine or ask for a false Kleenex when asking for a tissue that isn't made by Kleenex. Just like these, the 'original' GT and both gold and silver saums are commonly accepted as Green Terrors.

Lots of nice colors. I will imagine he is the only GT in the tank. I have a little one like him but he has a big female in with him. She dominates all and so he seems to suppress his colors and is growing slowly.

Make no mistake, by the way, male GTs are nicely colored but females can be straight up evil.

Yeah he is the only GT in the tank. He shares it with a Firemouth and a convict.
