This is just to spread good information to help keep animals healthy.... One of the reasons veterinarians tell you not to to separate a healthy puppy from a healthy mother who is doing her job before 8 weeks of age is that the mother's milk provides antibodies to the puppies who cannot get their first round of shots until 8 weeks old.
