I have owned my share of senegals and never saw a white one stressed or not. lol Like I said in my last post I made my settings on the camera darker so people could see the speckles on the back they wouldn't show up because the white was to shinny. It is not brown at all, I made it darker. The last picture is what it looks like under regular t5. Those pictures were taken the next day and he had all night to settle in and still looks the same.
There is no shading between the belly and the upper body, it is all the same milky white color. Still a good deal even if it is just regular.
Maybe not a true platinum, but a white senegal with tan freckles on the back, that is no monster fish urban legend that is a reality. The skin is white with light tan freckles, couldn't be the only at a chain could it..? hahabig E;3678033; said:WoW! I have wanted a platinum senegal for a while, this story doesnt help, either way i sense im going to be looking a little longer at the tanks there now! Its like a Monster Fish Urban Legend, Platinums @ Petsmart!

Hey thanks, I got pretty lucky. I ran in with a friend to get a bone for the dog for christmas, and went and checked out the fish section just for the heck of it. I don't even shop at petsmart, I order most fish online anymore.Kolossus;3686036; said:Nice! Looks just like other plat senegals I've seen. Rarer than most to say the least!
