Thanks i got a new firestone as mine was old and added air into the powered as they were all gasping for air.... They gave been doing that for a while might need more pumps..... On closer inspection there seen to be less spots on the fish . I true a tiny bit of food today no takers i also done a slightly higher water change about 40% i also didn't dose the full amount of salt as as i didn't want to shock them as i don't use salt normally . So fingers crossed and thanks to everyone who advised

2nd ebjd passed today.............. HELP what can i don i have added salt and the tempreture is 88, my cats have got it now and they are aloso not doing good........... 1 is covered in spots and the other has a few and spends alot of time at the top of the tank. i have a air tube so oxygen shouldnt be a problem and the other fish are all fine
Treat with a little Malachite green or dedicated ICH medicine. It's been so long since I had a bout with ICH but I remember using RID-ICH or NOX-ICH?? The whole temperature and salt only treatment is something I've never done (or wanted to risk). Not that it's wrong, but I've never lost a fish to ICH when I dosed with Malachite+ high temp + salt. I've been keeping fish for almost 20 years now and I stick to methods that are tried and true for me.
Sorry to hear you lost some fish. Keep up the water changes and try to feed less to reduce any ammonia build up. The frequent gravel vacuumings will reduce the beneficial bacteria in your tank and reduce the amount of waste they can properly process which could affect the fish further. I'd get some ich medicine if I were you. Good Luck.

Thanks for the info. I started another post on the disease section here.... Sadly i have lost more fish... Now these ones show any signs of white spot so i am now very confused.... Parameters are all good... I am still doing daily water changes have been for the last 6 days ..... Had another death last night a young convict who was eating only 4 hours earlier! Also had no signs of white spot...... So now i am just confused and depressed :-(
Use real medication then. IMO it is more effective. Yes they are harsh meds, but you are living the risk of the salt/heat method, IMO.
