sounds like it could possibly be a type of worm people get from bad water quality/overfeeding, dont remember how to get rid of em but try to go from there, water changes and scraping em off is always a good place to start can't go wrong there

You should get one so you can effectively see when you need to do water changes.

For example you might be doing 50 pct a week when you can be doing that in a month.
On my 10 gallon planted my nitrates are only about 10 ppm after a month with the same water. If i didnt have the test kit i would be performing water changes every week for no reason.

What is the best kit to get? I know there is some that are a couple bucks, but then there is others that are 50 bucks...
