I noticed that I haven't seen my betta all day today. Digging through the plants I finally found the front half of him. That's all that was left. No fins or anything else.
I can't figure out who ate him though. He's in a heavily planted 55 with:
zebra danios
2 redtail sharks about 2" - 2 1/2"
4 tiger barbs about 3/4" - 1"
2 Blue Paradise Gouramis about 2" - 2 1/2"
1 well fed peacock eel about 7"
So who could've ate half of him? I just don't get it. He was hanging out on the bottom of the tank yesterday. Maybe he was sick? I've been trying to get the water to the right params over the past week. Maybe it was too much stress for him? I dunno. I want to add another, but not if there's a fish in there that's going to keep eating them.
