Who else is with me? Who else hates plecos???

I hate them. OK strong word but i strongly dislike them in every way.

Reasons:
They crap, ALOT!!!
Only a vast minority of them are "pretty" and those that are "pretty" are very expensive
They suck on polypterus!!!
They barely ever move
They look like a turd with eyes, most of them do anyway

Go ahead and flame me, but those who agree post why.

hate is a strong term but basically I agree.. I'd love to have a 20"+ panaque but that's about it..

Some -- but not all of your points -- are well taken and I partially agree with them, but I don't HATE plecos or any other fish. I have a large common that does plenty of defecating but he's interesting in his own right. When visitors view my tank, they appreciate his presence. My pleco is a conversation piece.

Not much of a fan of plecos, but I do have few bristlenose plecos.

i don't really like them that much either. my fw lobster ate my last one and i have not had one since.

I dont hate them but I have fed a few to Lucifer.

I didnt like them in the past but when i grew one up to 13" i changed my mind and do like them but as i have bichirs i cant have any so no i dont hate them.
