Cause we are Australian and its an American Holiday.

Some kids walk round and ask for lollies but most people send them away, most of them don't even dress up. Personally, I like the concept but would rather Australia stick with Australian customs.
 
It's not really a big thing here in England either. You do see some kids out and about dressed up, but it seems less as the years go by.
