This is a picture of what my basement presently looks like, I stopped working on it due to having about 4 feet of snow in my back yard thereby making moving the debris out a real pain. I want to be able to simply drop down the lorass bins and load em up. The plan is to redo the room with good insulation and marine grade drywall.
this is what the blueprint of the room is like
the filtration system that will go in the room
I moved almost all of my tanks and fish into either storage or to the restaurant. So that I do not have to worry about any contaminent getting into a tank.
When I am done with the fish room there will be a infloor drain system with a return water system which will work with butterfly valves. Many though I do know for sure that I am putting in a 24 foot long x 3-4 ft wide x 3 ft high tank. The sides, back and bottom will be done with cindercrete and italian marble tiles with the front consisting of a frame that will hold 3 8 ft lengths of glass.
In terms of fish room, at the restaurant as you come in the front door I have 6 ft 230g, 6ft 180g sw, 20g guppy tank, 10ft 300g about to be repaired as it cracked, 5 f 140g, 5 ft 168g tall, 8 ft 300g, 5 ft 150g, 6 ft 180g, 4 ft 75g and in the back storeage area I have a 5ft 100g wood framed tank brackish, a 4ft 100g with my florida soft shell and a 4ft 90g a metal worker made that is about to go into action.
Come by for a coffee and something to eat on me. Just do a search of threads I have done and you will find pics of my tanks.
