I thought fish never stopped growing given the space? They just slow down considerably. Increase water changes to 60% twice a week and feed a high protein diet and you should get an inch or two out of him, lol.

I reckon they could achieve those sizes, but in a big tank. With an equally big filteration system.

Here's the largest I've personally caught....right at 14".

I have a pair in a 125 gal the male is right at 13" at 4 years old i do 50% water changes every week and feed earthworms and hikari gold as the staple food and market shirmp, beefheart for a treat.I think my devils are still growing well atleast putting on weight and girth i would like to think that he could put on another inch or so in length time will tell the female is about 9" and they are in a 14" terracotta pot to give u a veiw for their the size.

I used to catch them on Oahu when I lived there. The colors on that one aren't very good, it was just the largest.

Those a just a couple. I, of course, never brought my camera for the good ones. Like blood red with black, or red with white.
