well everyone said YOU CAN'T DO IT.... and i have kept my male jag with my yellow labs with no problems.... i was just wondering who has Jags or any CA cichlid with african cichlids or any other fish?

I did for a time have this mystery blue malawian cichlid with my ca/sa cichlids... no scraps or problems. But I gave him away...
Now I have two jewels with them, still no problems.

I have a 8"-9" GT living with a Jewel. They grew up together.
I dont think I would attempt the same combo with adults.
And I would NEVER try it with my jags.

I wouldn't get too overconfident yet, you'll see from reading around different threads, fish can easily and suddenly become very aggressive towards tank mates for no apparent reason.
I kept a few jags with my mbuna for a bit. That is, until they decided that they were too cool to hang out with mbuna. Then they got their own tank.

, now i await the thread where he is asking why his jaguar snapped and mass murdered all his africans.i did it when he was like 2" until he was about 4.5". this was fine until he started to reach sexual maturity and realized how good they tasted. the only reason i tried it was i didnt have another tank at the time and he woulda been eaten in the sa/ca tank before his tale got wet good. lol. dont be surprised to come home to a few headless bodies or missing fish.
Good luck, I hope it works out for you. I thought that my four juvenile dovii would be fine in the same 210 gallon tank for a while. I was right, they were fine for a while, unfortunately I left them together one day too long, that's all it takes.
