Who Has Sampled Their Aquatic Pets In The Kitchen?

sandtiger, hahahahahaha, you kill me dude. first off they were 12"female and 13-14" male. they were in a 300 so they had plenty of room. And thats why they got ate, so they didnt go to some little kids 29gallon. and yeeeeee hawww yourself cowboy. Just cause i live in a trailer doesnt make me a red neck. The fact that I drink coors light doesnt make me a red neck. Eating my fish sure isnt being red neck. BUT. I did eat Black Betty as well, she was my pet pig. Thats what makes me red neck. Instead of riding one horse though i prefer to ride 52. and even though im red neck i aint no cowboy. yee haw. just havin fun sandtiger. hope no offense is taken.
 
I actually didn't know you lived in a trailer despite the pictures, I was only comenting on that freakish picture of you biting the fish. Eating a pet fish seems like the easy way out to me and I just don't aprove. The fact that you gave them a good life is nice but I cannot imagine just eating my fish like that. I work on a farm so I raise animals for eating from birth to death but this just seems a little taboo to me.

I don't even really consider eating your fish redneckish....wait, yes I do...thats redneck. But not so much as showing off and bragging about it.
 
I don't see a problem with it. If thats the mindset you have when you buy the fish then whats the difference in that and having a stocked pond? Only that you can look at the fish easily in an aquarium. You people keep saying that these were his pets, I don't see it that way. I have 2 dogs that are my pets. I love them and would do just about anything for them. I have fish. I DO NOT love them. I think they look cool. They are not my pets. I know that some of the people here love their fish and they are their pets. Thats cool but you shouldn't think someone is crazy for eating a fish. What if I had a lobster tank in my living room? They would be neat to look at, they would not be my pets, and everyone I know would want to come over for dinner!
 
I think CentralMayhem should make it his lifes goal to sample and photo every popular aquarium fish in the world. Could write a book, "keeping and eating aquarium fish".
 
Children are also tasty with the right gravy.
