I knew a Brazilian kid who said they used to eat Arowana all the time back home, and he said it was good eatin'. I don't know about eating "downed fish" though. What if it died of some nasty infection? I mean you'll probably live but... How could you enjoy it?

I think if you're going to eat a tank raised fish, you have to be sure it's healthy first.

What's the best way to kill a big fish humanely? Drop a big hunk of dry ice into his tank?
