curious... how do you clean tanks with full of armatus? would they bite? the teeth are seriously damaging to human skin if it attacks.

Yep, Woody's one is a beast.

I really meant apart from Woody though, since other people have been importing them.

Woody's beast is going to be hard to top, and obviously he has had his for a few years.

Mine is only around 12" now but definately a fast grower...and a very cool fish to observe. I have mine alone with only a shoal of feeders in a 220gal.

I would have put him at over 12 inches, looks pretty big and beefy.

How many of those feeders would you estimate he eats per day?

Has anyone had any luck getting their armatus to eat prawns etc?

Dmack, 12 inches already, I need to get one of these. whats the ideal tank size for this, and is it worth it to even have tankmates, or better off alone?
