headliners!? I am the LoachQueen. You can't get a better headliner than a clown loach. and 9 of them... ! plus 11 rare kubotai and 13 sids, a species on the endangered species list, and the mean yet beautiful batik...:dreamy sigh:
you'll have to excuse me, i'm a little silly tonight.
I have major weaknesses when it comes to loaches, schooling fish and plecos. And i rarely buy just one of anything(plecos are the few exceptions). so a single huge headliner is noooooo fun
:whispers in a soft voice, psssssst... there are "s"s but no "n"s in my name :
Re: headliners? I don't need no stinkin' headliners!
Jessica (not Jen , sorry 'bout that ), that is very cool. I have just never seen a 125g loach tank that is different, but cool. WE all have our own quirks. I love big mean fish, so for me, I am thinking, how many big ugly fish could I have put into that tank
I love yo yos. I have 4 with my big cichlids, and they totally leave them alone. They are so playful, just go up and down the front glass the whole day as a group. Silly fish They are about 4" or so. Pretty big, but very slow growers. And I have about 10 different plecos and catfish in there also. From asian and bumblebee cats to scribble and a few other plecos.
Re: headliners? I don't need no stinkin' headliners!
no worries,,
quirks...hehe...I also have a 55 gallon rivertank dedicated to loaches and a 20L dedicated to a variety of khulis, lol. just a few non-loach in both tanks. I only have aout 19 species of loach in my tanks. I used to have more, but had to reduce tanks and send out some fishies.
Some of the big cichlids are quite fantastic. I love eartheaters. however, i also have a planted tank fetish, so that means they really aren't compatible with how i set up my tanks. I had a santanoperca leucostica (until he succumbed to an evil death by spironucleus), and he loved to bury my sagitaria and marsilea.
of course, you said big and mean.. does that mean even WOWer things, like arowana?
