Who has the largest common pleco?

I think yours were both P. pardalis Liz... if I remember. They have more spotted dark vermiculations on a light background as opposed to more squiggly... think i have a picture of it somewhere. I'll try to find it. Pardalis can attain sizes over 50cm total length. Rottbo (i think) has/had a beautiful P. pardalis, that I think he said was about 2 foot.

I have a Pardalis at about 9" with 12 rays in the Dorsal fin. He is roughly 3yrs old and is currently being kept in a 55 with some other tankmates.

ill measure my 3 commons tomorrow and get pics so we can ID. My biggest (meatpot) was last measured around 14 inches, he was a trade in to my petco and i fell in love with him as soon as i saw him, he's out in my pond for the summer.

How big can i expect my P. gibbiceps to get?
I did some research before getting him but it varies depending on the source?!?!?!?

He has really jumped in size the last couple of weeks!!
