I'm not in the running, but my current largest fish is my 8 1/2" (SL) lutino oscar (about 10" TL). I did have a 1 1/2 year old red oscar that was 10" (SL - 12" TL) and a couple of plecos that were about the same size.
I had a 12"+ Flowerhorn in my hybrid days Nothing this big now, and I am not trying to compete. My alpha frontosa male is about 8" and that is fine w/me
I think you'll win this thread for those fish, not to mention the potiential that RTC hybrid has for growth. Thems get reeeeeeeeely big.
My largest fish at the moment would be my 11" Cyphotilapia sp. north "burundi" alpha male. I think my P. motoro certainly has potential to be the largest fish I'll own.
I have 2 Tinfoil Barbs that are at least 12" maybe 14" or bigger. I have had them 10 years.
Also have a Bocourti Cichlid that has to be at least 14" maybe 16" I will have to try to measure them somehow. I have had this guy since he was about 6" long. Very big.
Wow, I have know idea on weight? But, when I get home I will take a guess........
