Who has the largest Pacu?

Holy Cow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How huge is your tank? That is some collection of great fish..please post some pictures ~

Here is alittle something for ya-Sorry for the quality it was taken with my camera!!!But it will give you an idea!!!My tank is a standard 125gal-with exeptional filtration-I did however just order a 240 gal!!!Then i can break up some of the fish and house them more properly!!!!

You have some great looking pacu's... especially because they have sooooooo much color of the red.. so adorable as babies.. hard to believe they grow into a monster size so fast..

Well what ever your doing keep on doing it because they really glisten!! Here is mine.. i tried to measure by putting up a yard stick ... they are big ..but the male is bigger then the female and she kept going in the front of the yard stick.. then i had them both..haha so between the two theres definitly a yard of pacu

wow how did you get that colbolt blue color... really nice pacu! And the pacu is going to be so happy in a 240 gal.........wow

Thanks for the kinds words!!!I run actinic lights-as well as a combo of high out put daylight bulbs as well.It makes for a good combo-Yeah they need the upgrade as well!!!!!

Do you use this lighting because of the location that you live? Especially when you have 24 hours of night{how long} so you need the special lighting?

how do u teach pacus to hand feed.everytime i go near the tank when the lights on , he freaks out.hes already knocked his cave over.iv noticed since the cave incident,hes started to calm down,but only a little

Not really-i just wasn't satisfied with the look of my tank,with just running daylight bulbs.So I played around with many different combonations before i got the look i wanted-has absolutely nothing to do with the location I live!!!!!

How big are we talking here!!!!When young it is easy to train animals as long as you have the time to invest into doing this-it's not easy by n e means!!!!
