yes that is awesome idea.. have it wrap around the tank maybe the net attached to rubber band type so you can make it a perfect fit but take it off to clean etc.. got those wheels turning now..
 
they sell nets at bass pro shop that can fight giant sea turtles cut the mesh out of those and sew on really big suction cups.

very smart idea..but it should be manufactured and be in different sizes according to different size tanks.. so many people are not handy:eek:
