who has the oldest Arowana on MFK?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thats nice to hear..they must have been brought there by their owners because they out grew their tank.. You just never hear anything about 30 inch older arows.. I wonder how long they keep growing ...how many years until they are mature.. i can't believe no one has some older Arrow's..

wow good for you, you are doing everything right..... this is the oldest so far.. how big is your guy at age 4 years and 2 months??? They are gorgeous... and beautiful tanks,

ur silver looks young for 4 years. usually around 4 they get that adult look in the face. yours looks barely 2 or 3 years old. mines about 3 years old and she's already gettin the adult look. i love it.

24" silver, about 3 years old.

16"ish silver, about 9 months.

and i have no plans to get rid of them, ever. the bigger they get, the bigger tank im getting.

so, uh, what happens to everybodiy's aros? you kill them off? SHouldn't they normally be living 10-15 years? Pretty sad that all these wonderful expert "monster fish" keepers can't keep their aros alive more than a couple of years.

Not pointing fingers... just curious. I am shocked that nobody has any older fish.. or perhaps those who do just keep quiet about it.

I've had neon tetras longer than 4 years...

That's what i was wondering ..i know we have been through alot of jumping arrows but what happens to all the rest... it happened to me too.. i have a big heavy board on the tank now... it seems like we are always buying an Arrow but never mention our big old guys..and we certainly feed them with expertise and so why aren't they surviving..and florishing.. I hope they are keeping quiet but why would they....i would want to tell everybody..
