who has the oldest Arowana on MFK?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
thats pretty nice. but my buddy has a 13 year old chile red asian. ill go take pics of it this week. whats dissapointing is its in a 120gal tank but its a freakin monster. its been in tha tank since it had a egg sac yolk dangling. he bought it the day he opened a stereo shop for "good luck" and its been in the same tank since. he's some asian dude n has no intention on upgrading or selling it. multiple have walked in with 10k cash n he wont let it go. or atleast put it in a bigger tank. damn him! ill post pics after i go take some.

I am sorry to hear of your loss.. it is really tough to go through,i lost mine when he was just over 2 feet and he was so thick.. jumped out and found him in the am on the carpet, so anyway i know how you feel.. i hope you have this baby till its old and gray too.. and maybe till your old and gray too.. wouldn't that be neat, i am hoping i have mine who is 24 inches for many years to come too....... very sad that so many do not live very long.. especially that we dedicate so much care into their well being.. keep something heavy on top. Thanks for posting.

that last one must have ages....

anybody ...oldest Arow ..alright biggest Arow...........no one has an older Arow...

What about checking around in public aquariums?. Seems like some of them have nice fully grown arowanas. I loved watching the one at Boston, but don't have much to compare with in terms of size since I don't get to see many, so not sure if that aro was fully grown. I heard there was a five foot arowana somewhere, that's probably the oldest one if it's true.
