Hmm, this thread outta be interesting. I've never seen someone keep a fh alive longer than 5 years and supposedly they can live to 8-11 years >.>
My flowerhorn just died this week. He was a Red Dragon and lived 7 years. I bought him as a 4 inch fry. He was the size of a football when he died. I just bought a 2" fry today. "starting over"
 
I think mine is 3 or maybe a little older. It was a petsmart red texas lol it is about about 13" i think never took it out to measure though. could wrong. it is longer than a standard sheet of paper if that helps haha
