who has the sickest cichla collection on MFK?

I should add that I am not arguing Don has an amazing collection. He very much does

I listed Hulon and Jcardona because they are the ones who got me into cichla

Awsome to be even mentioned in such company as these guys.Don't think i hold a candle yet but time will tell Also sidocter's colletion i did not even mention either as far as alot of rare fish he's got them Also....But you can't have the fish or the set up you got to have both to have the Crown EH!!Is it not so?

R1,Dmack.. R1 had a much better collection, Dmack had a very sick set up.. so if i cant vote for myself Joey gets collection, Dmack gets set up..

thanks to all of you who gave me my deserving props, Joey aka R1 my hommie , and everyone else who gave me my respect and props, but i will speak on this one time and once only, I will no longer share my collection with MFK nor post pictures or videos... I put so much time money dedication into the upkeep of my Expensive and very Rare cichla collection to accept criticism and rude remarks from anyone who doesnt know me or what it took for me to achieve this level of fishkeeping i have reached, I have had them all if you dont believe me do a search on me Intermedia, pinima, all except fogo.. so as far as having best collection not to toot my own horn but toot toot lol i do think i have the sickest or best collection how ever you guys put it.. I feed my fish the best food out there, i do water changes 100% every 2 days, i have them housed in a 1000gallon tank, i have all south american fish housed together.. i am a dedicated fish hobbyst to the fullest.. i take this $h!t very serious and am dissapointed to be called a person with money.. as oposed to a die hard or hard core cichla collector.. Thanks to Li aka Neo for making a wonderful place for fish people to meet chat and share things.. but its obvious its my time to go.. i will miss all that were cool and sorry to let you guys down that loved my collection but this is the end...

Don't let a few $h!tty remarks get you down. Hell, people get jealous of incredible collections like yours, so some of them have to run their mouth about something they can never hope to have.

You are an ignorant one aren't you? John has more dedication to his fish than just about anyone on this site. His collection actually IS special because of his monster cichla. Maybe you should think before you open your rude mouth.

And I will add to this list, Sidokter also has one of the sweetest collections.

I think you might have misconstrued the reply that PSA posted.It appears that PSA was actually giving Don his props for his collection while disagreeing with another poster who might or might not have been doing so and not insulting John...To Don,we haven't communicated privately you and I but I'd just like to say that hopefully you will reconsider your position about sharing any future pictures and video footage with MFK.I don't and probably never will have the awesome collection that you and others have but if I did I don't think I would allow it to affect me very much if someone were to post criticisms of my collection.To me,your work and dedication shows and after all,this is the internet.We take the good with the bad.....Let's not allow this good thread to degenerate into something it was probably not intended to be and yeah....Sidokters collection deserves mention also.

Hmmm anybody then why doesn't everyone have the same stock as don if that's the case answer that?.. my question was collection, and set up so your answer makes no sense johns collection isn't anything special in the pbass world..? Set up now that's another subject.. we might as well include the guys in europe with 50000 gallon set ups and so forth.. it is what it is Don's collection is second to none and saying anyone with a few dollars can do the same please show me proof..

I agree with I<3fish, that was one ignorant reply. I didn't know there was a right or wrong answer to this question on hand. Opinion isn't? And that's my opnion, so don't get your panties in a wad. To me, "sickest collection" has nothing to do with species only. And based on your simple-minded reply, I'm sure it does to you. And that's fine, that's your opinion. My comment was not dissing anybody's collection. My cheap and common cichla collection never even came close to what other people have, but why is it that some people mentioned my name in this thread? See the point I'm trying to make? It's not all about be able to find rare pbass species only, it's about how you raise them and how you keep them. And that's why John gets my vote. And I stand by what I said earlier. If you have the money, you can find whatever fish your heart desires. Why are there Fogo in Asia, and none in the US? $$$$$, that's why.

Don after reading your reply it saddens me I cant' believe you or tank would get poor remarks you canclearly see the fish are well taken care of ..And if someone had an opinion that it was all about money with you really that is stepping over a line saying it on here if someone actually feels that way they should try and meet ya so they can then know you before making a statement like that on here i did not see that but it is not right ....

And Jose to me it is totally about the care of your fish period !!!!>>>>And if you happen to get some nice rare ones well gooood....But always always the care taken shows it definatly shows You can have a super rare fish in filthy water and it's not going to look good period !!!!If ya think doing a water change right before pics and not taking care of them any other time believe me it shows guys ...Sad whats going on here less and less people coming on and sharing there pics and i suppose it has alot to do with negative comments....Lets just hope people wake up and smell the coffe here so to speack

been gone for a while, back when i was on a lot dmack an r1 had sweet setups. anyone got a link to dons setup, i really wanna see it now. lol if my memory is correct r1 had a sweet atf setup at one point. it was so cool im trying to do the same now.
