Who here ever driven to canada from the U.S.?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Jeesus..awfull places you guys live! Afraid of the blue guys because of fish, subject to searches because of long hair..sounds almost like Africa ( and belive me I know Africa )..Here we go from Lisbon to the Black Sea near Turkey without any hassle...;)

not really worth the risk imo for a fish.

everyone can say they never got search but it only takes one bad luck and random searches to decide to open some bags.

i am sure you dont have a poker face when you cross the border also. :nilly:

my buddy has a mailbox in the states and he buys all his stuff over the net, crosses, tells the guy hes going to the duty free to get some stuff and to a outlet store, goes to the mailbox, loads his trunk up with cheap stuff and says some shirts, when they ask if he bought any thing he says, yes officer these three shirts.. and they let him go every time. as long as you have a good fake legit reason to go over your ok and as long as you spend $30-$60 and show them a receipt you will be ok... ok and it helps if you don't have a terbin...

i have been back and forth like 5 times when my family drives to florida (we love road trips), and we habve never been searched once.

this time i plan on picking up one of your "goodies"

But that was before 9/11. You need a passport now.

Im driving to canada next week. I was told that i don't need a passport now! Has something changed that i'm not aware of. I know you need one if you are flying in, but driving i would be all set with my birth certificate. atleast thats what i understand from here

British Columbia is known for one thing hahah Maybe you could contact the people who built that infamous tunnel from BC to Seattle I think it was. Good luck, I live in Ontario so I can always just drive back with no boarders.

I would assume that there is tighter security at the Mexican boarder than the Canadian....and I've not been searched once there........

I've crossed the border about once a month for the 12 years and I think we've been searched once in that entire time period. Just give them a good solid reason for going to canada and they never check. Oh yeah you don't need a passport to go to canada I was there yesterday, and a birth certificate and Licsence is more then enough.
