well if we are talking about staying a live in the wild bichirs and i think the are better hunters or atleast more stratigic in ceatching the fish.

Clown knifes don't use electricity. there are studies that prove that only a certain group of knifes can. bgks are the most common knife variant that use electricity and the voltage isn't high at all. knife fish that don't use electricity usually have sensory barbels or sensory pores that look like little indents around the head area.

If we're talking about a clown knife or an AbaAba as the knifefish representatives, then I'll go with the knife fish.

my bichir actually stalks my feeders i just realized...my ck doesn't even seem fazed by them. and i just got to see the ck yawn!!! holy crap its mouth is big! i no that people always say thst but i under estimated mine.

i'd say the ck is a better predator.
they reach larger sizes and stalk things crazy at night.

By far Clown Knife-Bichirs are decent predators but do not have the speed or Vacuum of a mouth that a CK eats-when I put feeders in with my CK and Ornate by the time my Ornate eats one feeder my CK has already eaten 6-7!

bichirs can launch themselves at prey and are very stealthy staying as still as possible. cks wait in a dark cave for something to swim by unless it's night time. then they swim as fast as possible all around until they find something.
