that is amazing for a little tetra... and good life span concidering all it went throughDragoner;3097384; said:The oldest fish I've had was a black skirt tetra. It was bought in 1998, together with the first batch of fish we've had. I don't have pictures, but it lasted until 2006. It has survived having its bowl stirred by a child (one of his friends were not so lucky), shrimp harassment, and it was almost killed by a small snakehead. The snakehead was able to attack it because it swam through dividers, but it escaped with a major portion of skeleton exposed, and a lot of muscle lost. Despite that incident which happened in 2001, it lived until five years later.
need a pic of Taco... so i can have my pacu fix...love them..IKeepPacu;3097528; said:my 5-6 year old pacu named taco (how original). ive had him around 3-4 years, and prior to that he was stuffed in a 30g tank with no heater or filter, and grew to a measly 6" in those 2 years
he's now over 20", however i doubt he'll grow much more than 2ft. i have another pacu only 1 1/2 and he's already bigger than him.
