Who Mountain Bikes?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Two things I do is mountain bike and fish. lol
Looks like you already picked up a bike. Get out to some trails. I have no idea what different parts of CA has to offer, but I know there are some good ones. The current female World champion in mountain biking is from CA, so there has to be awesome stuff. Here are my 3 mountain bikes. The full suspension usually doesnt have the bottle cage on the botton, but it was a hot day at a very long difficult trail so I needed the extra water.

Thanks. The half forks are from Cannondale and are called "Lefties". Unfortunately I had to take it off my orange bike because it didnt fit the geometry of my frame and caused the steering to be too twitchy. They are awesome forks though.

Hope you made it out to some trails. If you catch the bug and have any questions feel free to ask!

Lol awesome exodus :D!!! You know, when I first saw Lefties, my initial thought was, would the bike be more twitchy? My second thought is, does the wheel flex without support on the right?
I haven't made any trails :( Actually a couple days ago on my maiden voyage into dirt, which was just a dirt field near my home, I caught two flats immediately!! Goat heads! Dang.. So I'm going tubeless, I just bought everything last night.

They arent more twitchy. Twitchy happens from a combination of head tube angle, fork offset, handlebar/stem length. The lefty I have is from an old bike and the orange bike is newer design. Unfortunately the combination of the two wasnt perfect. There are newer leftys that have proper offset and would work, but the problem with Leftys is that they are a lot more expensive than traditional forks. They tend to be lighter and have more torsional strength.

Tubeless is 100% the way to go. I havent gotten a flat in the last 2 seasons.
