Who needs permission for tanks?

i asked my mrs if it was ok to put a 7*3*2 in the living room . she said yes thats fine no problem. so i reinforced the floor made a stand .it all took about a week to get ready, the tank got delivered it took six men to carry it ,,,,well what do you think sweethart,,,,get it out she shrilled
 
We have talked about it many times, I just say I want *this this this this* and she is cool with it, we have a fantastic relationship, we don't hold each other back, it goes both ways. Just be encouraging of their endevers and they should respect yours.
 
My wife works and i am a child care provider for her 2 sisters and our 2 kids. With 2 dogs and 2 tanks. she never has any problem with the small amount of time i have for the hobby.
 
After being married for 18 years she has got to the point that she lets me do as I want.

She says as long as I'm working on the fish I'm not at a bar or chasing other women.

And this woman has a good job and doesn't ask how much I spend.
 
I love your avatar that movie is great "OLD BOY" I love the scene where he fights his way down the hallway with just a hammer... definately a movie to see...and I am supposedly grounded from buying anything new for my fish yet I have been grounded for the last year but for some reason I still go out and buy new fish and fish stuff and do not get into trouble...
 
I agree w/ the Old Boy statement, AWESOME movie.

I'm still living @ home but don't need permission for the tanks, just as long as I have the $$ for everything and I clear up the area that the tanks going into.

Wow I did not know yet that "Oldboy" was known outside Europe (and Korea of course ;)) Yeah one of the greatest Films I have ever seen, so destructive but also reconstructive...salute to the director.


Back to topic I think that of course if someone still living at the parents house is a little more restricted than all the others here and of course "payment" is a quiet important factor, but in my situation my wife makes it very easy for me, what ever I want I can have.

I am already getting to my limits myself to find out what´s really important....probably my wife is a much better psychologist than I am :ROFL:
