I dont think that tigs get much bigger than say 24-28" in nature to be honest.

Mine must be at least 17-18" now. His tail was completely bit off when I had him in my other tank. It's coming back pretty nicely now.

I know michael's was massive. I've seen it in person, easily 26"+. In the wild they max out at three feet from what I've heard.
