Who owns an Eheim 2260 or 62 or 1262 water pump???

iv got two 2260's and love them both, best filter iv ever had, dont find to many of them in the uk and iv never seen a 2262 over here. can you fit the 1262 pump to the 2260 cannister to make it a 2262 ? is that the only difference between the 2260 and the 2262 ?

To me 2260 its perfect, I'm not saying 2262 its not good, but if flow its what you are looking on top of the 18 liters of media, we can look into eheim 1264 pump, same dimensions of 1260 and 1262, but 1188 gph.

It's always nice to see an old thread bump for an Eheim filter.

Found it. Part is 7443670. When this part comes in, my 2260 will be converted into a 2262. What a deal for only 10 bucks - shipping.

Let us know what you experience (flow wise) with changing just the pump cover (volute). The 1260 pump is 65 Watts and the 1262 pump is 80 Watts, so I'm sure that will also have an effect on how much of an increase you will see in pump flow.

For the record, I have 3 Eheim 2260's and I absolutely love them. I also have a 4th 2260 that I converted to a 2262 by replacing the 1260 pump with a 1262.

I also keep my eye out for used ones. I have only purchased one new 2260, in 2005, all my others have been bought used.
