Yeah I have a group of guys i war with. And im around 1200.00 in the game. I kid you not, majority is from donations. Aside from the 2 xbows and 1 inferno that i gem'd, I only use ️Gems for boosting spells, DE pumps and 1k per 7 day hero build. Which is about every week or so. Just maxed my queen about 3 weeks ago.

And yes!! This game is a house wrecker lol. I know quite a few people with heavy hearted family members lol.

I think my nephew has spent about a thousand

to me that is absolutely insane. I think $60 games are pretty crazy. to think of spending 1k, it better come with a maid who made me sandwiches and give back rubs on demand

I'm with you sumo. I couldn't do it. I'm scared that if I put 20 bucks into it I'll want to do it again and again

Thats what happened over the 2.5 yrs of playing lol. When I switched my acct Game Center i needed to prove I am the owner n needed to show records, I was 1k in and didn't realize it lol. I've purchased 2 Chest of ️Gems since lol.

yea the problem isn't that they'd drop 1k on a game up front. it's accumulative and everything adds up. my nephew was playing for a little over a year

I see CoC no different than someone spending 500.00 on Ps4 and buying games and more equipt in time. The only big difference is I can take my game to go lol. Some people get stuck on "why spend on a FREE game!". I get that on global often since I'm open about my gems spent.

idk, idc either lol. Its extra cash that people have, not like my fam is starving. I'm gemming from an apartment or my moms basement lol
 
not really the same, but I can see your point.

it's the same in that you pay that much for a hobby and you get entertainment from it

it's not the same in that you pay that much just for one app, but with the cost of the console/several games/several equipment you've spent it on several games and can play several games on top of enjoying the console for other purposes like using the internet, Netflix, watch dvds, use it for pics and video storage, etc

to me it's money more well spent. but then I guess that all depends on who you're asking and who's spending the money. if you get your money's worth then yea, it's all the same
