it's not the same in that you pay that much just for one app, but with the cost of the console/several games/several equipment you've spent it on several games and can play several games on top of enjoying the console for other purposes like using the internet, Netflix, watch dvds, use it for pics and video storage, etc

to me it's money more well spent. but then I guess that all depends on who you're asking and who's spending the money. if you get your money's worth then yea, it's all the same

It's the same for me, both are entertainment and well worth it. If my kids did not demand so much outside activity time, I might own a Ps4 or any type of console game lol. I play at work, I can't bring any console here lol. So to me its money well spent, I can capitalize anywhere and anytime. I was in Idaho and was doing raids or war attacks on the way up. No need to install all this stuff in to my ride to play a game I'm hooked on lol. DMV line where its boring... Clash lol. In my book its better than Ps4 but that's because I am addicted to this app :)
 
yeah...I always look at it as people will drop $60 bucks a game every few months so spending on clash is no different.

Sumo still uses his laptop (instead of the mobile app), so of course stationary consoles have an elevated status. I'm all about the portable mobile way of life at the moment. I couldn't sit down and game for 2 hours if I wanted to but I sure can find time to clash all day

Ikr, I can play all day. I get kicked from clash twice a day lol. Sad but it gets me through my work day haha.
I'll look for a pic I just got. I know A LOT of people who play multiple accts, its crazy! I'm not talking about farming accts either lol. Hunting over 4K trophies is so boring they have multiples searching for whales lol.

different lifestyles, different situations, different preferences,........

i'm not on the go like you guys. i don't prefer to use my mobile for internet. if i'm on the internet it's on my tablet or computer.

when i am on the go, it's with my kids or family, during those times i don't want or have time to be online.

like i said, the money well spent depends on the spender and his/her situation
 
I'm 2+ years in and haven't spent a penny on this game. TH8 and still working on upgrades.

At last review, my brother had spent $1,500+ and counting on his account (6mo ago or so). In addition, he has now started an account for his wife and has been playing it to help with wars. He's been playing about 6-9mo or so.

What clan is your brother in? Its crazy how much this app makes lol. I know a maxed base at Lvl103 lol. He dropped 11k after playing 3 weeks. He enjoyed it so much he maxed it out. Some of them Arab clans gem like mad!
 
The only upgrades I bought were in the very beginning for 5 builder huts. So I'm guessing around 30-50. T7 2000 trophies, pretty mediocre, Been at it maybe 1.5 years. I go periods of inactivity when I'm busy with work and projects.
