Due to the amount of waste produced by the Pbass, Tiger and Bichir, I don't need to add Nitrogen or Phosphorus. Along with C02 injection, I add Iron and liquid carbon daily. Micronutrients and Potassium Sulfate are added 3x's a week. Weekly I do a 50% water change.
I just turned my lights down to only 9 hours on with only 4 of those hours being at the full 360 Wattage. The powder algae on the glass stopped growing and the staghorn melted away. Hoping the small tufts of black beard algae also disappear with the change.
