Awesome episode!!! Some of the northern snake heads have been establishing colonies on the Potomac In MD for years now. Catch and kill orders. They say they havent been reaking the havok on native wild life as they suspected. Still I would hate to be hit by one of these agressive sp. when full grown, supposedly the are the second largest and can reach 4 feet. Kinda sucks cause You would think the rivers and lakes here in the U.S would be fairly safe besides of course the ones in the southern states that flow towards the gulf of Mexico.
Great Episode.....that fish has always freaked me out......I have a friend who used to have one and it would break the tops of the tank and hide in his closet.....at least i learned on that episode that they are not as mobile out of the water as I once thought they were......but still I dont like the idea of that fish being anywhere near where I am.....
That episode was awesome. Snakeheads can be very dangerous and should be kept out of the U.S. rivers and streams.
they were catching them so easily it seem like peeps in the states would have them in tanks. guess they wouldnt tell us though lol
