Exactly it also helps to do regular gravel stirring and vacuuming. If it just traps dirt you are either creating toomuch waste not vacuuming enough or don't have enough gravel Im so sick of people saying UGF suck.

i had one in a 20 gal for a long time..

i still run my 2.5 gallon with only an ugf.. lol it keeps the snail happy..

Considering his coworker has 3 RBPs in a 55g with a UGF only, this isn't enough.

Krichardson, how are you going to convince him to change it?

I have tried to convince him get more of one component or another on more than one occasion but we almost get to the point of arguing.He says he's been doing this long enough to know what he is doing and dose not need anyones advice.He starves his rbp's so they can give him a show when he does feed them.
