Who uses heat exchangers on their tanks?

Costs about $5/month to keep 800 gallons to 84F. It has been summer time and warm here though, I should see substantial savings during the winter months over electric heaters.
I have installed that type of heat exchanger for pools, for my larger tanks that are in my basement I have the area blocked off and bring the temp up with a constant run dehumidifier. What you have done I've seen on here before minus the heat exchanger, they are expensive. A couple of guys have used pex coiled in their sumps.

No issues at all probably saved me well over $1k by now. I heat 1400 gallons to 82f and costs a few dollars a month
Cast iron recirculating pump? I hope you have a bronze or stainless unit or love the taste of rust.
