I got zapped pretty good from a failed heater a month or so ago. :WHOA: It made my hand hurt for a day or so after that. I know I'm not the only one with a story about getting electrocuted by their fish stuff. Let's hear some of those stories people.
 
well once i was playing with my dvd player and one of those holes in the back of it zapped me made my finger feel fuzzy for a while
 
The term "electrocuted" would imply death by shocks from electrical wirings.lol

Been zapped only twice. One from wornout airpump and then another from touching the screw of a lighting system while my hand was wet. I shouldn't touch electrical objects with wet hands.

Can't dry those hands! Might kill some of the bio filtration in the tank. I mean geez I think a lot of us have our hands in there so much that's borderlining on truth. So, anyways...

Oops. You're right about my terminology... but yeah. You know what I mean. :D

I've gotten zapped twice, but only once from the fish stuff. I had a capacitor discharge on me once that that left my thumb aching for at least a week. I'll take the 110 zap any day over that...
 
been zapped by hagen heaters... almost got taken out by one...
 
Not by fish stuff, but was playing around in a bulb socket, cos the bulb wouldn't go in.

You know, I totally forgot. My mom was hit by a heater in the early 70's. She worked at a petstore that didn't have their heaters grounded. She was charged with cleaning out the fish tanks, and had no idea until she was hit so hard that she fell to the floor and had to crawl her way over to the phone for help. My dad said her legs were black and blue for weeks on end.
