Who's been electrocuted?

one time i went to change some pluges around and my hand was wet.......
i got shocked pretty bad....

That happened to me once when I was working retail. I was bent over scooping some water out a bucket with a specimen cup and it sent me staggering backwards into the food display lol. I was given the chance to go home and said no and just took an extra 15min break. lol.
Other than that I keep re-learning my lesson about the old wet finger and the switch on power strips. . .that'll wake you up.
prolly the number 1 thing I've learned over the years is to invest in a good quality submersible heater! I've been shocked by so many HoB or crappy heaters that break,crack, or otherwise malfunction 'n shock you silly. and yeah.. wet hand.. plugging this 'r that in...I wear the same old ragged shirt or try to each time I do maitenence.. and use it to keep my hands semi dry. becuse I always lose my towel, or it gets just outta reach ect.
and yeah if you pee on a cattle or horse fence it's not gonna feel great, drunk cousin, family dare... accidentally grabbed a live fence wire more 'n a few times now.

Growing up around horses meant I had encounters with the electric fences on multiple occasions. The worst hit I ever took I was like 13 and my grandfather decided it would be funny to wait until I had picked the gate up (it was just the wire with a handle) and then hide around the corner and plug the fence in. I screamed and that fence knocked me down on my behind and I got up and looked around the corner and there's my grandfather grinning ear to ear with his hand on the plug. Needless to say I was not amused.
The only time I got zapped when working with the tank was when an internal filter was too far up the wall of the tank and it was leaking down the side of the tank. I was panicking because I thought the actual tank had sprung a leak. So I reached down to unplug the power strip stopped myself and decided that would be a bad idea, then promptly reached down and flipped the switch on the strip instead. For some reason I decided that flipping the switch would not be hazadous to my health. What made it worse was I was leaning against the metal stand at the time. That was pretty painful.
