I have mine on frozen blood worms. Usually pop a block in at night and him and the elephant nose pick them off.

one o fmy favorite fish :D

its weird... hes kinda shy most of the time. but when i am siphoning, he comes and bites me lol.

the one i have right now only eats non processed stuff... ive fed him live black worms, blood worms, rosies, and guppies. has no interest in pellets and flakes, but ive never seriously tried to get him on them. rather feed worms anyway.

the only i had several years ago would eat flakes though.

One more question that I don't know if it is fact or fiction. Will having more than one Knife in a tank mess up they're electrical organ sensing? I've heard a few times that they will not be happy if there is another "electric" fish in there.

It can be done but you have to have a back up plan for if it goes badly. I have two BGK in a 150G tank who get along fine because they grew up together. Adding in another one just caused mass carnage so had to fall back onto Plan B and get the hospital tank out.

I've seen schools of elephantnose (12 or more) very happy in the one tank.

In answer to your question, it can be done but maybe not smoothly

Wait before you say this is the wrong knife, look in the lower left hand corner. Sorry, this is the only picture I have of mine.
