i have a 9,450 GPH pump. ill have to build a sump and hook it up to my empty 10 gal.:headbang2

i could even hook it up to my 55 and still win:ROFL:

my 29 is @ 10.2 turnovers per hour, my 55 is 9-10 per hour and my pond is X2 per hour.

im not sure about the others, ill check 'em out.

You can overfilter?

125g african tank

Two rena xp3's
Two penguin 350b's
Two emperor 400's

Our 55g dat tank, with sixteen 1 1/2 to 2 inch dats has 3 emperor 280's and 1 penguin 200b, probably gonna add a rena xp3 too.

125g riverfish tank

1 emp 280
1 penguin 350b
1 rena xp3
2 emp 400's

Is any of that overfiltered? I dunno, I just stick as many filters on there as fit. Most of the filters came used which is why we don't have any huge canisters or anything, that's just what we ended up getting our hands on cheap.
I don't have any sumps right now because this is a rental and I don't want the potential risk of overflow or anything. Yes, I know if run the right way there is little to no risk, but I'm paranoid.

You can't really overfilter, however in this thread... it means more than you have to!

When I get a pond up and running, I will overfilter it... beyond you guys with man-made filters AND nature's filters! :headbang2

After I set up my first sealed pressure system I never went back. No more late night/early morning disaster calls after a power outage...

I apolagize for the silly question in advance... but what do you mean by a "sealed pressure system"

I have 2 fx5's and 2 2600 seio powerheads on my 200 gallon and 2 500 ac and a 802 power head on both my 50 gallons and my 90 gallon's
My motto you can never over filtrate only over stimulate!!!!

Update****

240 Gallon
ProClear Aquatics 400 Wet/Dry 2200 gph pump
Xp3-18watt UV sterilizer
Fx5
Eheim 2260

1200L/350usgal tank

2 x eheim pro3 the big origanl type
2 x big pond filters that are filled with sponge and bio balls this gives each pro3 double the amount of mech filteration compaired to a fx5
2 x eheim 2252 internals both with extra modules filted eaxh inturnal has a turn over of 1200lph the media in the inturnal is polyfilter its as good as having a FW skimmer as it removes all the heavy organics
1 x eheim pro2 the big one with 3x trays
1 x shuran sand filter
1 x shuran nitrate reactor
2 x 25w TMC vectron UV run in paralel to give a 50w UV

Just "upgraded" from 2 AC110's, 2 AC70's, 2 Rena XP2's, and a 304 Fluval on my 125, and added a 220g cap. w/d with 1100gph @3ft.
Lots of gph, lots of media cap., lots of current, and lots of energy consumption.
I'm starting to think that maybe there really is such a thing as too much, or at least a point where more makes no difference..
The w/d really did not increase the water clarity, and the tank's not stocked heavily enough to need the extra bio, so the only thing I can see so far, is the "bragging" rights to say I've got ~3550gph (~28.4x) turnover in the tank.
Not worth it to me. Probably be scaling back down to the point where I see a difference in quality/clarity of the water.
