That's smart. I've heard too many stories of the male offing the female after a couple spawns. My pair are both about 4". Hope they'll get along long term.

yea that already happened to me and they didnt even spawn, he attacked her and bit off her whole tail fin and shes still in a recovery tank i wonder if her fin will ever grow back to look normal i just hope so!
