its crazy to me like i said im in like shock it was quite a surprise. Bc its a smaller tank for the mean time we clean it 2x a week and the first time i seeen him shoot by i was literally ecstatic lol thanks for your replycongrats on the fry! it’s amazing that little fellow grew up!
Its actually a 20 gallon; ik ik "its too small" lol i hear ya, but right now i have them in there until they get a lil bigger. Theyve been together for awhle and have no issues at the moment. I do have to clean there specific tank at least 2x a week. I do plan on switching them to the bigger tank eventually. Sorry it took a minute to get back. Have a nice day. What size is that tank?
It is hard to tell in the picture, but with zebras, males have a lot of egg spots on the anal fin and they also are bluer than females (females are typically a deep orange, males are paler).thanks for your info...and how do i know the OB Zebra is female? just for future reference?? thanks again

yes lol very roundAgreeing with Deadeye about the egg spots and more blue. Male OB zebras are called "marmalade cats" and have a very pretty blue overlay, as well as some length to their fins. Your fish looked like the fins were very rounded.

the red blotched zebra? and yes i will continue to post pics as it grows; soon i definitely have to get them into the bigger tank eventually only to be fair, but i keep alot of plants in the tank for plenty of hiding places plus a coconut and a skull and we clean it at least 2x a week altho sometimes we only get it done once a week. Thanks for your reply. With its shape, I’m kind of leaning towards zebra. An issue is that juveniles almost always look the same, may need to put on a little more size and color before you can tell for sure.
