I didn't read the last 4 pages of posts, but I'd imagine it was like the first 8. Dovii since you've all but seperated yourself from 98% of the members here, why not just post on another forum? I for one will NEVER buy a fish over 50$, the only fish that I may be thinking of getting that is ~30$ is EBJD's and thats it. IF I had the financial status and income to afford a fish, thats ~5K I would not buy it. I would donate it to help people who starve and suffer daily. Thats me. If you have the money to afford something like that, and you are ok with it, that's also fine with me, but I think its riduculous and if a fish is that rare, it's ment to be rare and shouldn't be sold period. 5K = Overboard imo

Many fish that demand this high dollar price tag do not exsist in the wild Not because they are overfished but because many are line breed for characteristics.

This site needs the simple reminder of 'TO EACH THEIR OWN' branded across the top of every thread although, I don't know if that would curtail all of these issues that arise out of conflicting OPINIONS.


That being said, I have come across fish of all prices that I did not wish to buy; expensive or not ultimately the choice always comes down to the owners personal opinion. If you're not the person opening the wallet or that person's signifigant other I don't believe you have a place in expressing your opinion if the only decision to do so is knock it.


Whatever happened to if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all? We get taught things like that when we're little and we're told them countless times for a reason ya know
