Why A Solo Fish ?

i need a good reason . i got a solo midas and its kinda boring Why do people like a solo fish ? are midas' more fun when they are paired ??

i know they have personality and all that but why would someone waste a 75G for a single fish ? say a midas . when all tht fish does is swimming around and digg and eventaully try to attack you when your near the tank

Some people like this. It's not like when they pair up they're going to start doing crazy stunts or anything...just get even nastier around spawning time.

but why not other cichlids like Jack dempseys and GT's ? they can be kept in a community tank and they have great personalities and also have more colour

I would thank so you can always try pairing or try different foods or change the tank a little

It would be a good way to raise a show fish. I like to try and keep a pair at the minimum

you can do tht with regular fish though , i don't know why someone would waste a 75 G on a fish that flares and splashes water our the tank 24/7's

good point i just want a good answer why someone would keep a solo fish over a nice community if they had the space
