Why A Solo Fish ?

i have never had a midas my itself.... do they act any different? My pair were very acting..

I have kept a solo Midas before but this time around wanted to try my hand at a community tank based on a Midas. The one thing I have going for me is a fairly peaceful puppy dog type Midas. On occasion he chases the red hook silver dollars around and fights with my pleco but over all not a bad combo. He has had a few smaller cichlids in there with him and has never had an issue with them at all. I have to admit after having both a solo and community; I like the community set up better, lots more going on in the tank and each fish has its own little quirks, and interesting interaction with each other.
