Why are my fish dying!!

Okay, just curious, you did check that the test kit wasn't expired right and that you did follow the instructions correctly? the only reason i ask is because ignoring either of those two points could lead to false results...

Also, how often do you clean your filters in the tank? coz if you clean too often or not enough that could possibly also be the problem?

I have only had the test kit since this year, so I don't think it would be expired...and I followed the instructions to the dot!

I clean my filter media about every other water change, I rinse it in old tank water...I clean one of the two pieces of media each time.

^ Okay, well seems like you've done every thing correctly on that front, so i guess thats not where the problem was coming from...

My only other guess would be that they may have been wild caught and not used to change in water parameters from the wild to the shop and then from the shop to your tank?

Although i guess it could maybe have something to do with the tank temps being too warm or cold possibly?

Anyways,if its a wild caught fish and you immediately put it into your tank directly, the fish might not survive as the water quality from where you caught from is definitely different from your aquarium water. So what you have to do is to slowly mix the water from your tank into the bag where your fish is in, add abit water in every 5 - 10 mins. Do it for about an hour??And then its free to be put into your tank already. Hope this helps.

You need to do that when you add any fish, regardless of if it's wild-caught or not...

And I did a drip acclimation with them.

I heard they also need food! Op, all your parameters were near perfect, your tank was cycled, you did a drip acclimation for them, seem like it was just a bad batch of fish. I know it's sad to loose fish, especially someone in your situation saving your extremely hard earned money only to have it be so extremely short lived. In all honestly I'm fighting the urge to order you a new batch of geo's and just have them shipped to your house. I just hate to see people get discouraged. Keep your head up! :)
