Why are pikes so underrated?

Why do people underrate pikes?
i have a Lenticulatus and its quickly becoming a favorite.
its dominated the pecking order in my tank, the only thing it doesnt fight is my umbee pair.
(for obvious reasons)
the fish has gorgeous colors and has an attitude to go with it.
why do you think people dont envy pikes as much as i do now?

I honestly think that the reason is that you can pretty much only have 1 per tank in most cases. I say most, not all, as there are alot of folks that have numerous pikes together on this forum. Myself, I have raised juvies together only to have them kill each other to the last fish. I wish that I could keep a tank full of pikes like people can do with Pbass and oscars and such. That would be insane!!!!

Lentics are by far the most aggro pikes Ive kept....

Ever since I got my Ven, I have been wondering the same thing. Even though my pike is one of the less attractive species, I think it's awsome!
